Not a coin but a temple piece. These are often made and sold to raise funds for new buildings.
My wife could not exactly make out which temple but if you could post a clearer pic with the writing I'll get it translated.

That's the best pic of it I can get are these pieces hard to come by?

It all depends on the temple. Some produce limited editions in various metals. Yours looks like silver and some can be quite valuable to, in generally, Thai collectors.

Best I can do without getting the name of the temple. I'll try to sharpen the image and get my wife to try again later.

Got it (well my wife did). Buddha amulet from Wat (Temple) Phet Samut in Samut Songkhram Province.

The number below the Buddha statue is 38. This might be BE2538 (AD1995).
