2 rolls of half dollars, no silver but a bunch of 1971's and 1972's.

I guess numismatically I made a little more than 10 dollars since theyre worth about 2 dollars each.

I never have luck with this coin roll hunting thing but ill keep the halves because theyre worht more and probably will be in the near future

Theres a 1988, 1986 and 1983 that are apparently worth around 5 dollars each if anyone can confirm this?

Where are you getting these values?

I don't know anyone that would pay those amounts for those coins...

Pics are really needed here. They may indeed be valued as such, but they'd have to be MS63, at least.

The 2013 black book, theyre circulated but not horrible, I guess ill just hold onto them for my kids if I ever have any, I tried paying for 20 dollars in gas with 2 rolls of halves once and the lady inside the station was very hesitant on letting me pay with them for some reason

Coin values really shouldn't be judged by a coin book. Values change day to day and by the time the book is printed the values aren't realistic. Real value of something is only what is someone is willing to pay you, and if you try to sell these circulated clad halves you going to have trouble in my opinion.

I've tried halves, dimes and quarters with no luck, I lost about 2 dollars on the one time I did quarters because the bank doesn't check them to make sure they even have all the quarters in a roll before depositing them
