zxcccxz Pillar of the Community Canada 5417 Posts	Posted 12/15/2013 1:46 pm rooneydog has it right. Use that link, the prices there are slightly inflated (20%) but you can adjust it likewise. Those are some really nice coins. I myself own some of those types. You're probably looking at close to USD$1000. Report this Post to the Staff
Tom Goodheart Pillar of the Community United Kingdom 856 Posts	Posted 12/15/2013 2:02 pm Just remember, don't clean them (don't even wipe them) and store them so they don't rub against each other any more. The 1723 shilling (SSC) looks cleaned but the others look ok. The '58 and '87 sixpences look decent. All in all a respectable selection and some nice varieties (SSC, Lima, Welsh silver (plumes reverse) 1707) Should keep you (or your Sister?) busy for a while identifying and grading them. As far as grading is concerned, is it much different to grade coins prior to 1790? I am only learning 1800's + at the moment, so I am unsure if I should go with the same method. rom the pics, I would say probably 50% being fine, the other being very fine?
