PCGS will consider crossing any slab. NGC will only accept PCGS slabs for crossover.

Well, obviously I am one of the only ones who thought it was F-12 but, either way, get it out of that holder and into a PCGS or NGC. A coin like that needs to be in a holder from one of the more respected 3rd party grading companies (even if it grades the same).

Very nice, original and rare coin. In this day and age at least fine 15, probably higher. Congrats!

thanks for the input.since it's not grossly overgraded and is fairly strong for the assigned grade I'm in no hurry to crack it out but may eventually send to pcgs

I missed this thread somehow! Nice coin. F12-15 seems about right.
Very nice eye-appeal for the grade.

just received the coin.my assessment in hand is a very nice f12.the brow, ear and lower curl details you see in the picture are there but faint-the tone of the coin helps bring them out-still very pleased with the coin but f15 would be a stretch in my opinion.

Get it out of that holder and at least in a NGC or PCGS one!

If you got a slab-relevant price on this one, you just scored hard.

Snerk.

That's a $2k coin in a PCGS slab.
