Believe it or not I plucked this key coin from a 25 cent junk box today. Quite a good find.

So how would you grade it?

Honestly, I'm a bit surprised that this coin does not at least make low EF given the detail on the side of the face and helmet.

I think it is probably a Ef40 maybe even a EF45

flippy- Thanks! That's about what I figured.

Any guesses as to a realistic value? A few days ago I looked for an example on ebay, but couldn't even find one. Now I see that there is one listing.

My two-year-old guide says £8 for VF.

Good find.
The coin has a bit of damage but it should make at least £10 on ebay.
Despite mintages I believe 1950 is a harder date than 1951 in top condition.
