A 1947 silver dime and now a 1960-D quarter. Just in the past two weeks. I knew that silver quarter was in the change even before the cashier handed it to me...lol. I know that higher pitched ring to 90 percent immediately.

I have a 2009-P nickel denco7. It came out of pocket change and you are welcome to it if you want it. It's a definite lower AU coin.

I caught a 1956 dime (Canadian) but it was really beat up - you couldn't tell it had the old effigy because that area got dinged up hard, which is why I think it snuck into circulation, then quickly out of it! Last year I got a 1968 dime (CAD again), which is .500 fine. My dad noticed a "really black coin" after I had told him to watch out for dark silver coins.
