Series 2006 Pakistan 1,000 RUPEES double serial number errors
Here are two Pakistan error notes I purchased from a gentleman living in Texas about 6 years back. He had purchased three of these errors on his recent trip to Pakistan and decided to sell one on
ebay.
It was in this timeline that I had closed my paypal acct. due to fraud and only bid on
ebay items from sellers who would accept Postal Money Orders.
Lucky for me he agreed and after purchasing the D70011503 over D6526564 One Thousand Rupees Note with a high bid of around $30.00 (do not remember the exact price), he advised me he decided to list one more and keep the last one for himself.

To my surprise, this second note not only had a double serial number, it had a different prefix letter, something I have never viewed before this.
E1620666 over D7390680
I'm not sure how many of these notes received a second serial number and assume one of the workers placed some sheets of printed serial numbers into a stack of unprinted numbers and received the second printing.
This may seem unlikely, but if it was printed by De La Rue PLC, (Currency Printers for 150 Countries), it would be possible as one of my other error notes was investigated by the Bank of England for having a third set of serial numbers printed over a "marked" error sheet with two sets of serial numbers. The kicker here is that the sheet had been pulled, then somehow ended up back in the good work section. *That note ended up in circulation vis ATM in early 2006*
