Playing around with my camera and decided to photograph the countermark on my Vasu Deva White Huns Drachm. It was described as thunderbolt. I have seen it described as a boar and a tamgha. I was wonder what every ones opinion is? There are countermarks of bust circulating at this time.

Interesting. I wonder if there is more than one coin like this with the same countermark?

AN,

According to Göbl, it is his c/m 103, which he describes as the Brahmi inscription GIYA(RA?) in circular incuse. The c/m on yours is only partially formed, which is not uncommon with these.

Best,
John
