Now this something I kept an eagle eye on. 10 day auction...just 2 bidders, sniper vs sniper. I saw what I wanted and I wasnt letting this one slip the net. I won it for just over £10, but I put in a much larger bid.

Zenonis?-Monogram-In-Junk-Lot

For those who arent aware, this is how Zenonis' monogram appears:

Here's the closest I've got for Zeno (the only listed which has the 3rd bar for the E).

Browse this page of monograms and look at Zenos... I just couldnt match it to him. If this is Zenonis then ill be laughing my way to the bank, but I doubt it - id really like some independent opinions.

LATE ROMAN MONOGRAMS

(A word on Zenonis - she is the wife of a short lived super late emperor and is 185th on the 207 rankings - I.E. super ridiculously rare and the slicks of her are worth hundreds of dollars so this would be something really nice).

Nice spot, it certainly looks like a horizontal 'S' in the middle. Frustrating wait now until it arrives and you know for sure!

Well it is knowing what you have that makes all the difference. I might have spotted this if I had been looking ..... But I would not bet on that ! You earned your reward this time. Hopefully you will score on this one.
BTW whats the other side supposed to have on it ?

I dont really see anything like an S in the middle of the monogram, to me.it looks more like a blob like a die chip. Photo isn't the best so who knows until its in hand.

Even if it does turn out to be a Zeno, it looks to be in better than average shape. Which in and of itself is a good thing.
