Prethen Pillar of the Community United States 3233 Posts	Posted 06/30/2007 6:02 pm My other new purchase was a (real!) 1860 in AU (dealer noted as AU50, but I believe this deserves an AU55). This coin is absolutely beautiful with nice original toning and luster. Make your own observations of the real 1860 versus the fake one (made during the Civil War to pass as currency). I don't think I've seen that anywhere else on the Net yet. It's badly needed. The only problem is that you need plenty of examples. Hey, it's not not a bad thing that mine was the first to be added!
