Are there any coins that depict roller coasters? I run a succesful roller coaster related website (16,000+members) and have not seen any roller coaster related coins. Did they make some at one time or are there no roller coaster coins? Thanks!

As far as legal currency I have never seen any. You might find some for amusement parks and various other exonumia throughout the years. I'd ask chrycopaul.

Can't say I've heard of a "real coin" from anywhere with a roller coaster on it.

Not too many coasters on tokens or medals, either, that I can find, though there are bound to be more. Googling the exact phrase "roller coaster coin" comes up with a couple of old ebay items: one from Disney (naturally) and http://cgi.ebay.ca/Six-Flags-Mindbe...in_W0QQitemZ150088445831

There are a few I believe but none that I'm aware of with a good depiction of the coaster. The one that leaps to mind is a Six Flags medal from the early '90's with several rides depicted on the front.

Time don't fly, it bounds and leaps.

Sometimes they are abroad: BOARDWALK HOTEL CASINO LAS VEGAS NEVADA have issued their own 1 dollar gaming tokenaround 1988/1989.

There is one with a giant wheel and a large B depicted, the other side shows a roller coaster descending.

Difficult to find? Hardly. I have one in front of me. Could be yours if you drop me your line. Cheap though...
