Hard to say, Obverse is has much better detail than reverse. I think this is a weak strike as many of these are on the reverse. All in all, I'd say this is VF-30 Cleaned.

I agree the detail is VF to VF+ and looks like the real deal. The coin has been cleaned but these are rarities and the cleaning does not appear harsh. It does need some type of rigid holder (for protection) whether you chose TPG or not. It is a valuable piece of U.S. history.

thanks for your interest and comments.i like all the early coins with large cents and dimes being my favorites.i grade it vf30 cleaned most likely many years ago.

I'm at VF30 on this one. The reverse is almost always struck weak.
Past cleaning is almost inevitable on these.

Gosh, there is a lot of detail in that hair. I am assuming it is a weak strike and am going VF-35 details cleaned.
