I guess the price has come down a bit on this penny.
2006P non magnetic just sold for a bit over $600 on ebay , but it was through Asyn
Hmm,
Maybe I should have bid on it.

Although desirable, its probably the worst looking one that I have seen to date.
Several scratches on the obverse and reverse and may even have a minor case of chicken pox.
Just my opinion.
I still think it was a good buy!

I would say that most if not all of the dots and scratches on that coin were actually on the scanner as opposed to the coin itself.
Asyn scans so many coins that the glass tends to become very scratched and makes his coins look bad.

I have to agree with middross. I realize that the asyn topic has been done to death, but I'm one who has purchased a number of coins from them and have found that when I get the coins they are almost always in better shape than what they look like in the listings. Good coins at good prices, gotta love it.

Good point!
The scratch marks on the obverse and reverse are in the same positions with their matching clusters of small dots next to them.

yeah the coins always looked scratched on the scan......everytime I get a coin from aysn its in way better condition than the scan....and there is never fingerprints or anything on them......you just go to grade the coin yourself from the scan and not rely on his crazy grading system.....I always seem to score decent deals from him though....
