Any idea on this one, I'm thinking of bidding on it. I'm not too good at grading Peace dollars.

Slightly below average strike but seller will get $300-350 for it raw.

This an MS coin but be careful with these. There is a reason this
one hasn't been graded.

Study the certified completed listings before you jump into these,
I think you could do better.

This seller has a less than stellar reputation and because of that my grade will not be flattering. The eagles leg and lower breast feathers are rubbed and the center hair detail likely is also. My grade is AU55 (dipped) being sold as Choice Mint State (which it's probably not). The strike is pretty good for a 1921 Peace but the price is already above what you'd pay for a top tier TPG certified AU58 piece. Look elsewhere.

That seller has a large and loyal following who are happy to pay too much for his coins. It's a nice gig if you can get it. You should be looking elsewhere.

I recently acquired one of these from my wonderful girlfriend as a gift. I posted some pictures of it in the classic coin forum. Actually, I will put a link at the bottom of my reply so you can check out my post (finally hit the required number of posts to do this!) I feel like the pictures are lacking luster. The coin looks clean, but I think everyone that has posted are giving solid advice. These coins, and especially this year, are hard to grade IMO. I would be looking for one slabbed by a reputable TPG and be happy with a nicely certified Peace dollar! Let us know if you get one, would love to see the pictures of it!

Thanks everyone! I'm taking your advise. I see that this seller always gets top dollar no mater what they sell. I think buying a nice TPG graded coin is the way to go on these coins for me.

Yeap, over priced. Just like all this guys stuff. If you are in the market for a 1921 Peace, check out the large high volume dealers junk silver piles at the shows. I picked a VF 1921 Peace out of one about 5 years ago for $13.50. Had to buy 20 Morgans/Peace to get that price though, other wise it would have been $15.

MS62. Although this coin may looks better, fact is that Great Southern over-exposes their photos resulting Proof-Like surfaces in the image.
