Hi everyone - first time on the site because I need some input from the experts. I collected coins when I was younger but wasn't ever hard-core about it. I have a box full of coins which I recently pulled out to go through for junk silver. I found a 1944
Walking Liberty half dollar which looks like it's in pretty good condition, so I pulled it out to look at it. I immediately noticed that the reverse and obverse are not even. If you look at the obverse with the date directly at the bottom, and carefully flip the coin, the reverse is noticeably crooked. The entire reverse is slanted about 1/8 turn to the left. It isn't a huge difference, but I noticed it right away.
So my question is... Is this anything special? I searched Google and this forum and couldn't find anything about it.
Thanks for your assistance!
