Hi guys I was giving a couple of coins I was told this was a 1942 denver double die quarter however I know nothing about coins was told it was pretty rare can anyone tell me anything about this coin thanks

The 1942-D DDO Washington is a brutally-large separation, one of the few DDO's which is actually visible in images the size you've posted. Your coin is not one, I think:
