Hello everyone,

I am assuming all the smashed areas on obverse are mint errors.
But, for the description, what sort of errors are they?

Do you think there would be any interest in the coin?

Thank you for your time and expertise.

Looks like PMD to me. I don't know how it happened and I'm not an expert but that's what it looks like to me. I can't imagine a way that happened at the mint. Wait for others before acting but to me(I love Barber dimes) that is a $1.50 coin at best w/shipping included.

Not_a_chance that happened at the Mint. I'm thinking it was either the subject of a childish experiment, or it was once jewelry.

The greyish patches appear to be solder or some other contaminant, not part of the coin itself.

Never stop. The glory is in the find, but the fun is in the chase.
