Yikes. I'd better go get my eyes checked. That shiny blurry circular object almost started looking like a coin when I stared at it for a while.

It's Etsy this time and not ebay, but this seller caught my eye.

I think he's charging by the Arrow count used in his coin sales. He has 4 pages of items for sale. My favorites are the "1771-1976 no mint mark Bicentennial Quarter" for $500, the $8,450 common glass marbles and the "Jake the mallard duck Ty Beanie Baby - Original- Rare - Authentic" with "Errors" for only $15,450. It has the original $6.99 store price tag still attached.

I have so many questions for him.

A 1938 German silver 5 marks.

It looks like poor President von Hindenburg was the victim of an assassination attempt.

The seller's address is in the U.S. and it's a local pick up only but the first time the listing was up the description was in Russian.

A Gem Red BU 1915 Lincoln. Looks 100% original to me.

Nice obverse surfaces.

I've seen dozens of circulated 1971 UK one penny coins (Britain's commonest coin, with a mintage of 1,521,666,250) for sale at inflated prices, but this has to be the ugliest! I reckon the seller picked it up off a road... and the only 'error' I can see was made by the seller in putting it on ebay in the first place!

This seller claims to have the most overpriced Chuck E Cheese amusement token - and I do believe he's right! Just remember, "most expensive" does not mean "most valuable," since this token is really worth a buck or less.

Oh, by the way, this zero feedback seller does not accept returns, of course.

I suspect adverts like this are being used for money laundering.

You could be right, Pertinax!
Here's a common 20p with environmental damage being offered as an 'extremely rare bronze minting error"...

Not one but two $20,000 beauties from this seller.

First is an AE-3 1907 Liberty nickel in a 2x2 with .55 cents written on it.

The next lovely fuzzy blob is a 1937 Buffalo in a Littleton plastic holder.
