I got so hilariously smoked on ebay today, I can't even be mad about losing seven bucks. I should've just looked at the guy's negative feedback first. The advertised coin was a glowing 1935-S Buffalo nickel. What I got was a harshly used 1935 Philly with gunk or paint covering the buffalo. I'm thinking gunk because there appear to be hairs stuck in it. I will post images later. |

It's my own dumb fault. Given the seller's taunting responses to negative feedback, I think he deliberately lifted the image of a 1935-S DDR from a credible site just to suck in cherrypickers.  Well played, tricksy hobbit, well played. He keeps my seven greenbacksies, Precious! Perhaps Master leaves him a stinksy feedback?  |

On a hunch, I decided to check PCGS. Sure enough, this very coin is listed as an MS62 1935-S nickel DDR FS-801.
