I have to use Bon Ami now and then to keep it a nice blast white. Pretty sure it's an 1843.

Not ebay but EBTH. Perhaps the ugliest 1864 Indian Head cent I've ever seen.

Lowballs are very popular nowadays. We have a few avid collectors here on CCF.

I'm actually impressed that they can say that it's an 1864, I can't tell from the pics.

The seller of this 1847 Large Cent has it listed as Uncirculated and states, "No scratches or anything in that nature on it. It is in perfect mint condition."

Is that a kite or a confederate flag on the cheek?

It's your imagination.

There are "No scratches or anything in that nature" on the coin.

It is pristine mint state!

It's a common mistake when viewing a dazzling coin such as this.

Happens to me all the time.

I see it too! I'll send ebay a mail and inform them that I found a bug in their software involving some broken pixels.

Anyway, another pearl for the collection: http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/252361...252361749349

Just $2500 for a worn 1943 quarter without mint mark. Completely justified given that just about 100 million have been minted.
