Iconic ultrarant. I had to be careful to keep my finger away from the Buy It Now button. I wouldn't want to take this bad boy away from the Right Person.

Probably got interest because it was dug, like a minie ball or a button.

According to the seller it's not a coin but a relic. I wonder to which saint it belonged...

That Belgian 5F coin is scary!

This 1875 Seated Liberty half has obviously been mounted as jewellery, but is the reverse really pink, or is it a bad photo?

That "hand enamelling" seems to be his thing. Look at all the other coins he has disfigured in a similar fashion.

if not the worse, this gold fook bar should receive at least an honorable mention. the cracks, the apparent cutting away of material, appearing to put it back, the other part, the bottom is destroyed forever.

it is a shame, because it is an oriental scarce-these-days- bar. at one point in the circle of the bar, I am unable to make out what or who it is.

the Chinese cam be cruel to their coins or rounds on a routine basis, most look like they were tossed in the dryer for a while. this bar could be so beautiful if it was just not just cracked, separated from appearances in certain parts, melted and welded together after falling out from a plane at 35,000 feet.

Northern Nevada Coins is a reputable dealer but I've only dealt with them for US coins. I'm not in the market for this ugly thing, but I don't distrust the offering. $9500 is a big markup on $7000 worth of scrap gold.

That enamelled 5F is so hideous I would pay the 1 pound asking price-out of pity.
But not the postage. Pity has its limits.

This thing has been being resisted for at least 6 months now. I've never seen more than one bid on it. Like the Buffalo nickel on the first page of this thread, it sure could be xf... if you can see through the moon craters...
