i was at my grandfathers at christmas. I'm studdying architecture so he took me down into his office and gave me some drafting equipment. while we were looking through his desk, I found this bank of western canada dollar bill. I got real excited thinking it was genuine. how could my grandfather have something like this and not tell me about it? sure enough, I see "copy" in the bottom corner. he said it came out of a cereal box many years ago. its still a neat piece though  |

Paulz: one look at that e-bay listing and alarms are going off in my head.... I don't think that's a "legit" note...

I think the whole "Canada ? Different" is what the seller would you use in his defence if needed.
But sucks to whoever paid 140 US

You can make out the little box that said "Copy" on the fake bill. Sad to see it go for so much.

plus the top if the five where the right stroke begins has the exact same little gap.....

Seriously.. seeing stuff like this is where I wish I could remove the ability to see this person's stuff.. There's NO WAY I would want to support this individual after seeing the fact they have sold this crap to someone who is unsuspecting!

It is in fact frustrating!  I want to contact the seller to let him know because maybe he isn't aware, but I don't know how ebay goes about saying someone has a fake note without having 100% proof. |

-I don't have one of these notes... but these are just a few things that stuck out to me:
-the word one I believe should be in "red" ink
-the cursive writing on this note would've been done in "ink" as such the writing should've changed colour over time to a light brown
-the portrait pictures are pixilated it's like it's a photocopy of another photocopy...

The word "copy" was photoshopped out. 100% feedback on almost 6k sales - hard to believe. Maybe those cereal box things are worth $140?
