Thank you SeatedNut. I downloaded the pictures in the link you posted and will be very helpful to me. I ordered another loupe because I cant find mine and will invest in a USB microscope camera for future posts. I will post other pictures of the reverse just for the heck of it.

Well it's not the VAM-215 the "D" has no bump from what I can see.

I'm back to Square One; the latter images look nothing like the initial impression of the bottom feathers, and I'm deferring to the initial opinion of the reverse type.

@leej, I hope you have that USB microscope on the way. We need some good close-ups to resolve this puppy.

Thanks for the direction fellows. I received a new loupe 30x today. I was able to note that the "o" and "r" are both unbroken which narrows the search. Gotta talk to the wife about the USB microscope tonight.

I have looked at VA-Ms 100 through 134 and have not put my finger on one. Here are some of the traits I'm seeing:
1. "O" in Dollar seems to be doubled on the inside left. 2. Star after Dollar seems to be doubled. 3. I can see the metal spot inside the first 8 in the date. 4. The first "U" in PLURIBUS seems to be doubled on the inside left. 5. I think I'm seeing the Alligator eye but not the eyelid doubling. 6. Left blossom doubled but don't see it on the right.

Start at VAM 200. You have a reverse of '79 aka slanted arrow feather.

Thanks Dave! I got overwhelmed with VAMs! After reviewing every VAM and long periods of time under the loupe, I think its a VAM 202. I can see the lines in the wheat and the damage on the "D" in Dollar. Its difficult to tell because the pictures on VAM World are at a much higher magnification than what my loupe is capable of. Im going to get a USB microscope for further posts here. It may not be a rare VAM but its my first, so it makes it kind of special. When I get the USB device I will post more pictures for conformation on my findings. Thanks again fellows!

Unless I was correct in my initial disagreement with everyone else - and I changed my mind after seeing your second set of images - it cannot be VAM-202. You need to first decide which reverse it is, from the bottom feathers.

Your right SsuperDdave. Another mistake on my part. The tail feathers look that of a C-3 reverse so its back to the drawing board. I have to start again at VAM-220. You guys got allot more experience than I and I appreciate the lesson.
