The guy "borrows" the description from an author and doesn't bother to read it...what an idiot.

Quote:
The 1853 Three-Cents Silver has the second highest mintage of the series, thus collectors will have no difficulty in locating a nice example. Even Mint State examples are common, with the largest population of coins clustering at the MS-63 and MS-64 grades. Gems are slightly scarcer, but Superb examples become very rare (the December 2011 Population Report shows five MS-67s, and none finer).

How about that 1986 SAE that was passed down from their father. Must have been in their family for generations based on that toning.

Hey, people will do anything to either prey on ignorance or flat-out trick someone. Recently I saw someone selling lincoln cents, 1914-S, and 1931-D for a ton of money, trying to catch someone off guard(my opinion)with the 1914-D, 1931-S which is the REAL dates. I almost bit once....just wasn't paying close attention. There's a lot of deception with "lots" of 90% silver. Someone was selling rolls at exactly 2 times melt. If one isn't careful a roll of dimes and quarters might get confused.

I mean look at the heading description,it states vf-au.
Now you know someone's an expert at grading when they can give such a precise grade
