That's a very nice coin.
The Krause World Coin collector catalog value is around 20 US dollars.
The coin has about 5 US dollars' worth of silver in it.
The truth is, any coin no matter how rare or common, is only 'worth' what someone is willing to pay at a given moment in time.
Catalog prices are a guide, not the definitive answer you may be seeking.
If you decide to sell it, you should have no problem finding buyers due to the high quality of that piece.

Oh I see, it must be over struck on an old 1902 50 centimos. That is cool.

That was a tough time financially for Costa Rica - they overstruck earlier coins at double the value.
