heres an answer I got from the same seller " Look at aliexpress.com and search for " Five cents 1921 " you will find it, its about 2.50$. If you want one or more from me I will sell them for the same price. I have about Ten like the one you saw on auction and if you live in Canada I will charge the minimum fees, .69 Cents for shipping, for a total of 3.19$ .

If it's stamped as such, it's not illegal. People need to mind their own business.

I see these come up pretty regular on e bay not just the 1921 nickel but others as well, has anyone ever been charged for the sale of these replica's and if so what is the penalty for it?
MAYBE THE PENALTY IS SMALLER THAN THE REWARDS FOR SELLING THEM like most Canadian laws

SPP... it's like -40 with the windchill today.. it took me almost an hour in traffic when it usually only takes me 15 minutes to get to work... But after reading your comment I am in such a better mood... Thank you for the levity!

Quote: If it's stamped as such, it's not illegal. Wrong. In Canada, it is very illegal.

But it's not even stamped copy, is it? Just for fun, I've cobbled together the copy with a genuine example. The date looks a bit dodgy on the copy, doesn't it?

I see differences in the 9 and the 2 as well as the 5 ... I also see differences in the "flure du le" in the crown... but if I didn't have a picture of one that's legit right on hand... just looking at that "copy" I would say it would fool me..
