Thank you! If this coin was stored in a plastic sleeve opened on one end in a card board box for decades would that explain the odd patina

I would also be at VF-EF. Nice coin!
I am guessing the modeled coloring is from an old cleaning. The darker areas being those that were cleaned. Still, a nice coin!
