I love to collect 64 Kennedy's both for the bullion aspect of it, but also for the collector value. I have lucked out from time to time buying rolls or singles on ebay, but there must be an easier and better way to buy them in bulk, and for as close to spot as possible. Any suggestions?

Thanks

I'm not sure 90% is considered bullion, I might be wrong thou. I'd try Local Coin and pawn shops, second hand stores too maybe. Plus if you just want bullion just get bullion usually much lower premium and they have interesting things on them, dragons all over the place some look like other issue coins too. A pretty piece of silver is a pretty piece of silver. No coin value in bullion and coins are not meant for bullion. I have some JFK 64's but would rather have more and better quality Franklins and Walking Liberty's, it's all up to you stick around and learn when you like aside from just that one. JFK's are all over the place, and the people here are good at not getting ripped off, most of the time

Have you checked APMEX? You can get them a little cheaper at Merit but they have a $5000 minimum and APMEX doesn't have a minimum.

I'd be concerned about the '64 Kennedy halves that originated in China and are available through ebay. If you have any decent LCS's in your area, you might find acceptable deals there.

I've never seen APMEX before. That is really interesting. Where do you see the prices for the items at? I couldn't find them.

The left side has a list....Gold, Silver, etc. I've purchased a few things from Provident Metals, but APMEX looks like it has a MUCH better inventory. Provident is a bit less expensive and I can usually get free shipping. Am checking out APMEX right now. As far as the '64 Kennedys, if you want convenience you will pay more. I'd keep my ear to the ground on ebay and be patient. There are opportunities.
