redlock Pillar of the Community Germany 992 Posts	Posted 01/10/2014 03:31 am If you mean commemorative Toonies and Loonies intended for actual circulation (I call them CC Loonies/Toonies), no, there were no such issues in 2013. The last time there was no CC Toonie was in 2010, the last time there was no CC Loonie was in 2007, which also saw no CC Toonie. In December 2013, the RCM got the authorisation to mint the ''2014 Lucky Loonie'' commemorating the canadian team for the Oympics in Sotchi. The coin should be offered by the RCM soon. That would complete my 1812 collection. http://www.history.com/this-day-in-...-white-house As for 2013 regular loonies and toonies, I haven't run into any in circulation yet, so I think it ended up being a pretty low mintage year.
