Anyone ever seen one like this? 1883, It should have "CENTS" since the "E Pluribus Unum is up top.

The "E PLURIBUS UNUM" is pale but it is just below "STATES OF".

Maybe the cents didn't strike well during the minting process considering that "E PLURIBUS UNUM" is very faint as well?

IMHO it is a Grease Filled Die on both the cents and the E Pluribus Unum. From the pictures it almost looks like the C in cents could be there.
