WOW, gorgeous example with crisp detail and good strike on both sides. At least AU 58 but looks MS to me. Thanks for sharing it.

Could easily be MS and appears AU+ at least. Very nice toning, looks completely original.

Not very good yet at grading mint state coins but I'll say MS-62.

AU-58 In hand the luster is nearly full. Just the slightest of rubs on the front and back. There may be a time where I try to get this into a MS NGC slab (only because I am a reseller) but for now I will appreciate it where it lies. Thanks for looking! I now have a new favorite coin

I can understand the sharply divided opinions mid-high AU and lower MS+ My heart says MS62, my head says AU58. As a TPG I would be obliged to use my brains, the little that I do have, so that means AU58. With the nice patination, the very little wear that the coin may have, is very well hidden. Similar applies to any very small nicks and scratches. If indeed there ARE any, they are hard to find. Difficult photograph and see the edges inside a slab. I would love to have this coin in my collection, no matter how it grades!

It is now in a NGC MS 62 slab (crack out resubmit). Funny how that works. Should help me get a few more bucks for it though .
