Got these on ebay, predictably...have to boast I think these are nice, despite the fact they were covered in some yellow substance before I took them out of their thick plastic covers and rubbed them with a cloth

1st up, cameroon 1960's

Very nice coins.

Is it the same company that prepares these?

^Grace - how would you have removed the yellow gunge from my coins?

It was a clean, yellow dusting cloth that hadn't been used, once I'd gotten most of the stuff off I then started to use the cotton coin handling gloves to remove more

^RenaL - I don't know what the company is, but they all came from the same seller - they were mostly covered in yellow stuff when I bought them which probably means they had been left in storage for a long, long time..

Thanks. Tho' I'm still in the dark on what this yellowy powder that was attached to the coins actually
was, and how to best remove it?
