I have Gardmaster albums but I don't think the brand is vital to my question.
Am I better to store them vertical like books on a library bookshelf or store them "flat", stacked on top of each other ten high or does it really not matter?

I keep my Dansco albums vertical. The oldest ones have been this way for almost thirty years.

While the normal Dansco albums have very rigid cardboard pages, I do have a few with vinyl pages and they are kept the same way. No problems.
