1880s Morgan with Doubled "ONE" on reverse. yes I was wondering if this Morgan was worth melt value or more due to that damage on the front. thanks and glad to be a new member.
Welcome to Coin Community, yesitschris1. Doubling of any nature is pretty common with Morgans, and this one gains no additional value from it. So, you're unfortunately correct in assuming that the obverse ding reduces this to pretty much a melt coin. Morgans of any type carry some certain premium over melt, but this one's will be minimal.
