Gotta take the grade from the lowest grade side. That means the obverse.
VF35.

That is normally the case with Gothic florins; there are far more high points on the reverse, and they tend to protect the whole of the reverse better.

Gothic florins can bring big money in Unc. or better, because they copped a lot of circulation. They completely replaced the half crown in issue for about 20 years.

NGC VF-30

I think it's a fair grade. But I like the design and how the crown stays detailed even in VF condition moreso than Candaian coins if I recall correctly.

To be honest there's so much wear around the hair (I'm a poet :) ) I don't think this would get a full VF - but it's still a very nice coin. I'd like to have it.
