Top pic is upside down.
Japanese 1 Mon, C#1.1 No date but used from 1636 to 1656.
Not worth a whole lot for an old coin because these were small denomination coins that they minted a lot of.

The mint mark would be in the second picture (if there was one). The different mint marks can be worth more. Also there are some cast iron pieces (yours is brass) that are worth a little more.

I figured there was a good chance the picture could have been upside down, I wasn't quite sure.

I appreciate all the information. I figured the value wasn't high, but it is very cool to have a coin from the mid 1600's!
