The lighting makes the relief on the obverse appear soft and mushy and the color is consistent but lighter than would be expected so I wonder if there was an old cleaning on this coin. cpfull Pillar of the Community United States 603 Posts	Posted 01/22/2014 09:22 am The color is a little darker in person, but the only way I could get a pic was setting my usb scope on a platform about 8 inches high and the led lights wash out the coin. someday I will figure out my camera and/or phone to get good images.
