Hello!

I would like to know if this ancient roman coin is worth anything, since I did not find any other similar pictures from it. I would be really thankful if someone could identify the coin as authentic.

I would say it's not worth anything because I don't think it's an authentic coin.

I agree it's not a real coin most likely an Eastern European copy.

It's strange, I found alot of history about it's origin, but the only picture I could find is this:

Not authentic at all. No doubt about it in my mind.

So it's practically worthless ? The man that gave it to me claims that he found it in his youth around 50 years ago.
Thank you for your answers!

The Sestertius in that link, is real. Your example is a fake.

Don't throw it in the trash bin yet. The coin is not overtly fake in my opinion. I'm not saying it is genuine, either; I'd have to see it in hand to tell for certain. However, there are several things about it that look perfectly normal for an authentic ancient sestertius of Vespasian, and only one thing about it that (slightly) bothers me. Can you get a larger, high res image of it and email it to me please?

Best,
John
