Ive got a bunch of Buffalo nickels that I want to go through as well what are the years and mint marks I need to look for?

Any of the teens are usually keepers. 1921S is another great one. Let us know what you have. Forgot to mention look at closely at all of the 1937D to see how many legs they have. I'm currently working on my buffalo Dansco album, but I'm starting to only need the harder coins.

BUNCH? That could be 3 or 50 or 1,000 or more. If only several, still could find a decent one. What you really shold do is purchase that famous book, The Red Book by Whitman. Then you would be able to see what to look for. OF course you could go to the many price guides on line for similar info. Even a trip to ebay would give you an idea of what to look for.

HOWEVER, THIS IS GOOD ADVICE.
