At many coin shows I've seen tables with flyers for coin stores, other coin shows, so why not a CCC flyer? Interesting thought. I will try asking at the next coin show I go to about that. If everyone that goes to coin shows would ask about leaving flyers with this forums name, would it be acceptable? I wonder since once started many others may want to do the same and that could end up with mountains of coin dealers web site advertising flyers. Still worth asking. Same idea if anyone knows anyone that has or works in a coin store or hobby store. Nothing to loose by asking.

Is there no one here who is willing to do some leg work to help promote our group?

I would guess that there are actually many folks here who actively promote CCF, but have not posted about it here.

Here is a flyer I made up last year. I often distribute it at coin shows I attend.

Very nice flyer!
I may "borrow" some of your ideas.
Unless bobby131313 tells us otherwise, I suppose we could all design our own flyers.
Still, I would want to know if there should be one standard.

As for not tooting one's own horn, I seem to remember a biblical admonition
to not hide our light under a bushel.
And the CCF shines a blinding light.

From my experience, dealers who welcome kids would like it, whereas dealers who cater to a 'high roller' clientele might not.
And from my experience, the best dealers welcome an educated customer no matter the customer's age.

Still, couldn't hurt to ask.

Another great place to put them if permission is given is bank counters.

I'll ask a couple things:

First, use the CCF logotypes as you already are. Second, please float it here first for Bobby/Susan to look at; it's their work you're publicizing and as wonderful as that is, they should be able to offer input first.

My first thought is not such a good idea. I can't say specifically why I think this. Maybe legal red flags, problems for Booby? i.e. money made by CCF, donations received, could be others?

Absolutely agree. To that end, I provided Bobby with a copy of the flyer last year for his "OK" before I began using it.

That's why I made the request. Bobby has a pretty clear understanding of the legal aspects of running an online community, and advance notice allows us to vet any potential pitfalls.

My coin club's major coin show is in a few weeks so I might have to steal some flyers from someone to distribute at the show. There are exactly three kids in my coin club- one of them is me, the other is my brother, and the last one I think is in Second grade.

I'm not vetting this particular one, as someone might remember the original reason that cartoon was drawn - just removing the sign in the background. Wait for Dad's approval.

hey I'm 16 and I got hooked on this forum and I'm thinking about starting a coin club in my school and if that happens then about 20 - 30 kids will probably join the forum.
