Especially to kids. My latest efforts are with the Mansfield CT coin club. They will will be hosting an annual coin show in March. The last of the packets sent to me will be sent and handed out to kids. An unexpected bonus: a guy in Massachusetts hosts a kids' show during National Coin Week. Upwards of 50 kids. Our Forum Dad Bobby will be sending out packets to him. Now, my beef: Is there no one here who is willing to do some leg work to help promote our group? If you know of a kid's program in your area then contact them with an offer to supply handouts. Bobby appears to be more than willing to supply the packets. And as long as our members continue to donate coins this could become a growing success. Please contact me and I will help. It is easier than you think. I will help you to compose a message. Together, we can blanket the world!

I would love to.....but I live in a major city with a massive population of a whole 472 people lol. Closest place to me with a coin club would be Edmonton, 2 hours drive from here. Could someone possibly create a banner and post a link so it could be shared on facebook?

Fireman638, thedollarman,
Both good ideas. A pamphlet would need approval. But I'll give it some thought. A banner? Hmm. I'll write the text if someone designs a banner.

I've spread the link to a couple coin groups I belong to on facebook. Total of 8000 members between the two. Hopefully a few of them will come on over. My apologies to the admin if you get overloaded :)

Just off the top of my head: Why do thousands of coin collectors participate in the CCF? Because we are the best Internet resource for information about coins. Our friendly and knowledgeable members share both answers to questions and their research results. No question is considered silly nor stupid. Kids are welcome and treated with courtesy and respect. ALL of our members feel lucky to have found us. The biggest complaint? I wish that I found this site years ago.
