I am going to say you have a true doubled die which is also showing MD. The doubling you are seeing on the right side of the "I" is MD. I see Split serifs on the N and the G which look genuine. I suppose it could be really deep MD but I think its a DDO. Report this Post to the Staff

I think I see a notch on the "IN". But there is also some field doubling on the "I" on LIBERTY. So images of the Motto would help. Report this Post to the Staff

I play with my camera all the time and at 200x you see things that look legit but are not if it take more than a 16-20x loupe most people dont like them but its still a cool coin if it is Double die'd I have a proof still in a cello I am trying to decide if is a legit DDO I will probably accept it as one its just suck a minor DDO.
