Apparently this year, it'll be available in Winnipeg, Vancouver and Ottawa. For Ottawa it's January 27th to 29th. If anyone from Winnipeg is looking for one from Ottawa, pm me, I'd love to swap.

I live in Vancouver and I will go to have my Vancouver Horse Medallion as well.

Went this morning to the Ottawa boutique. The place was completely empty - I was the only one in the shop. I brought some real 1-cent errors to show the staff and security guards, they were pretty impressed with them and asking tons of questions. Then, since no one was there, they let me "play" and make some errors, like last year, but they would not let me strike one on a blank 1-cent planchet that I brought with me, nor would they let me put two blanks together under the dies. They also would not give me a blank planchet (I did get one last year though)....

Can't remember last July at Winnipeg, the press was not in service is there a charge for these coins? I guess the RCM knows not to let us play too much, dual prancing horses. |

I forgot whom I trade with for the Vancouver coin... I know it's someone from this forum that contacted me on RFD.. Unfortunately, I've deleted that PM. If you are that person, send me a PM for this year horse...
Anyone here from Winnipeg want to trade the horse one for last year snake one?
Edit: I thought they would have this next week as Chinese New Year is next week.... Luckily I check and saw the facebook status or else I would of missed it
