Do you know of any good auction lingo that the auctioneer uses when he/she is presenting a lot of coins?
I was confused on on some of the things the auctioneer was saying-the bidding becomes very fast and I did not bid when the terms were confusing to me.
Ex: the lot started out with 10 coins then when there were only 3 or so left to bid on, the auctioneer said "double" on three. which I guess meant that the bid of say $5.00 was doubled for the coins. I didn't understand if the bidder that won had to take all three coins or not.
Just wanted to know if you could shed some light on other auction lingo.
thanks
