Evidently, an Order of Merit of an Austrian canary-breeders association!

I'd say the second one is a promotional gimmick for a bank. Hand them out with change at retailers for an advertisement, now we get a toaster after opening, back then you got a dollar to open it. I'd guess some time from the 1920's or 30's.

Edit: this is interesting, just found it in an archive of "Full text of "Blue book (1910)"

MARYLAND TRUST COMPANY

N. W. Cor. Calvert and German Streets

BALTIMORE, MD.

I wonder if German Street got changed to Redwood Street after WWI, or WWII I may be off by a few decades may have been the 50's not the 20-30's

The second was a gimmick used by a number of banks, saving and loans etc. across the country. This one came with a metal bank a lot of the banks looked liked a small book, which in them self's are collectible.
They would give yo an extra dollar when you brought the bank in to open a saving account.
