I bought coin flips in large number from gate west coins and I was just wondering if anyone knows whether they are Mylar or contain PVC. I know Mylar is safe but PVC will cause pennies to get damaged.

This is the link to the coin flips

Cardboard / Mylar coin flips are ESSENTIAL for my approach to collecting and cataloging.

Basically, my collection is a statement of the development of coins from their inception to date.

As such, each coin needs to be described accurately, including from when and where it was acquired. I have been doing this for over 40 years.

Therefore, the flip must carry all of the written information that pertains to the coin enclosed, AND protect the coin for (at least), my lifetime.

Archival quality NON PVC album pages are also essential.
