I am so close to starting a Dansco for my Morgans. The rare dates/mms are keeping me from going forward with it right now. I'm too afraid to buy any of them raw, and I don't want to crack open a slab either. I'm torn. Awesome set you got there. They look good all together. Have you weighed the albums? I bet they're hefty.

Not light, lift with your knees Ok now you are all going to have to pick you jaws off the floor.... the albums were bought by my grandpa in the 60's or 70's... and he got most of these from pocket change.... I bought one of them this month, the 1891-S for $22... Seeing as there is less then $100 for original purchase price they are light as a feather

Nice set of Morgans. I see you mention the "V" work in your post. Be careful, your collection can get really side tracked if you start looking for varieties. Mine did. I have the Danscos for the complete Morgan dollar set and have yet to place one coin in them as I have been cherry picking VAMs for the last 2 or 3 years. It hasn't left any budget for the key dates. Please keep us fellow CCF'ers updated on your progress.

Thanks All! Yeah I'm not too worried about VAM's someone put that tail-feather variety in the hole and I have not taken the time to see if they were right plus I'm not too worried about digging through all the VAM's just yet. If I ever get a good camera set-up going I'll take extreme close-ups of my 1878's and see what you all think for VAM's And yes I plan on posting all new Morgan's here as I get them... more eye candy

Just added 2 more today... 1896-O Worn but OK. 1896-S which is beat up but still fills a hole, I'll get better pictures later, but not being able to see how bad it is might be better
