Buddy Rest in Peace United States 7075 Posts	Posted 01/30/2014 9:00 pm My first impression was that it was a MM variety -- but when I enlarged the photos the second "D" doesn't look right and so I suppose it is a gas bubble. The zincolns can be maddening that way. I keep seeing stuff that is just zinc rot. Report this Post to the Staff

Chadwick Valued Member United States 271 Posts	Posted 01/30/2014 10:27 pm Zinc cents break by heart. I don't bother looking for any zinc cent errors because of this kind of thing. It's pointless to me. Those things rot so that even if you did have something cool, chances are that it won't matter in the long term. Unless it's something obvious like the WAM coins, I don't bother with them. In fact, after stopping at a store I usually cull the coppers and toss the rest out the window.
