I'm a fan of these as well ...

Have found 112 silver War Nickels in my roll searches (304,800 nickels searched).

Also have a nice MS set in PCGS holders ... all designated FS and MS66 and better.

They are indeed quite lovely in high MS state.

I probably have less than a dollars worth that I have picked up, but I love them. They are my favorite modern coin and I really need to put together a short set sometime of some really nice examples.

Although I sold several rolls years ago I kept one with the nicest examples.
Also have 2 or 3 complete sets from '38 to '65.
Eventually I plan to sell them here.
Pulled War Nickels when they circulated freely.
Happy to see that they continue to be of interest.

Yes I have three uncirculated sets and that is my favorite way to collect them. What its really interesting is to know the difference between uncirculated and sliders because the sellers will try to slip a few sliders little cirulation in there. That grading knowledge is key. Then I put together a set of nothing but sliders for a fun project. Au 55-58 stuff.
