Hi, 2nd post....

Have a old 1960 penny with this damage on it. Had it for years. Not sure what to call this damage but IMHO it looks like it was made that way. Is this called a Laminated error, if it is a error? It is on both sides. I am new so do not know proper terminology to explain things, just going by what I found on Google. Is this an error lamination? What is it called? How was it made? Any Value?

Thanks 1960-USA-Penny----->-What-Type-Of-Error-Or-What?--Help...

In the 'old' days, folks would sometimes place a penny atop the car battery as a sacrificial object to keep the terminals cleaner (battery acid/vapors). This may be one of those sacrificed items.
